Shrink Tunnel
We Next Packaging Machinery Pvt. Ltd. are Manufacturers and
Suppliers of good quality of Shrink tunnels. A heated tunnel that is installed
above or all the way around a conveyor system is known as a shrink tunnel or
heat tunnel. Shrink film is loosely wrapped around objects (such as packing);
when heated, the material contracts to tightly enclose the wrapped item. A
conveyor and heat are used in a shrink tunnel to keep the tunnel chamber at a
constant temperature. Shrink tunnels can also be used for curing purposes, but
they are most frequently utilised for heat shrink packing. Steam, infrared, and
recirculating tunnels are the three main types of shrink tunnels. There are
various kinds of shrink tunnels. The heat source may be an electrical
resistance heating element, an infrared heater, steam, or a gas flame. Forced
air is frequently used to enhance convection, sometimes concentrating the heat
on one area of the object. There are tunnels available both with and without a
conveyor. Some are integrated into production lines or are part of equipment
that applies shrink film. Some can be moved by hand or on castors.
An integrated
conveyor of either the roller conveyor or the belt conveyor may be included in
a shrink tunnel, also known as an oven. Polyolefin, PVC, and shrink
polyethylene films can all be utilised in roller conveyors. Hot air from the
bottom of the tunnel fills the area between the rollers, shrinking the film
layer surrounding the object and forming a sealed package. The rollers are
referred to as "active" or spinning when they are used with
polyolefin and PVC-based films. The rollers are referred to as "dead"
or not spinning when used with polyethylene films. For smaller packages or when
the product may be unstable and require a stable platform, Teflon mesh belts
and polymer mesh belt tunnels are employed. There may be two or more zones for
regulated heating and cooling in some heat shrink tunnels. We Next Packaging Machinery Pvt. Ltd. are
